I have desperately been trying to get to posting this wedding for over two weeks! It was such an amazing day and I’ve been so anxious to share some images from it.
It was a rainy one… just like the day that we set out to do their engagement photos this summer. But, like that day, these two really couldn’t have cared much less about the weather and more about each other. Their wedding day was full of personal touches, happy people, great laughs, delicious home cooked food, and a wholelotta love. Simply stated…. they are the likeable kind. The comfortable, hilarious, fun-loving and easy-going likeable kind.
Ok, here we go….
The ceremony was held at Alicia’s family’s camp
The ringbearer (Alicia’s nephew) was very concerned about keeping the flower girl under that umbrella! And yes, there is a perfectly good explanation why he is not wearing a shirt =)
When her dress got muddy, she just kicked off her shoes and kept going. Loved it.
They had the best locations picked out!
Ok… so here is why I love Alicia and her sister Vanessa so much. This bride is willing to crawl under a barbwire fence for the sake of great images, and her sister (the Maid of Honor) is breaking into her own house via the basement window while in her dress because she got locked out. These girls are sooo country and I LOVE it!
Love love love this group shot!
The super adorable reception site…. home of some of the best meatballs EVER.
These gorgeous centerpieces were made by Alicia, and those are some homemade beef-jerky guest favors in the middle…. mmmmm….
Congratulations you guys!
