It was a gorgeous, sunny day. There was the usual hustle and bustle when I arrived at the hotel where the girls were getting ready. It never fails that the bride will ask me, “Is it always like this!?!” Yes, why yes it is =) And yet, a definite sense of calmness and happiness as she was obviously very excited to be marrying James in just over an hour. Courtney, an emerging photographer, has a love of details. She’s my kind of girl! She invested a lot of time and energy into having some fun and unique touches throughout the day. She found ways to incorporate her favourite colour, pink, into just about every aspect of the day. Plus, she had this great button theme that I have never seen before. Now, as for James, he was one excited groom. I watched him sneak in little glances & snuggles all day. A bit of an added bonus for me was that I got to catch up on a fair amount of visiting as I was related to literally half of the people there that day as James & I just so happen to be cousins.
