Nathan & Katie | July 2

Everything about this wedding was beautiful and lovely.  The weather, the location, the details & decor, the music, the food, and let’s not forget the people.  Nathan & Katie have one of those classic stories where they were friends in high school, dated for a while, went their separate ways, then ended up falling in love a few years later.  On July 2nd, there was an overwhelming sense of excitement and sheer happiness.  Katie had that big, beautiful smile of hers on her face all day, and a very spiffed up Nathan was looking pretty pleased himself.  After the ceremony and pictures, everyone gathered back at Katie’s parents’ home for some lawn games, visiting, toasts, and then an amazing dinner under tents in the back yard.  Katie envisioned and perfectly executed a classy, vintage look & feel.  She borrowed various china sets & flower vases from their aunts & grandmothers and decorated with simple, white flowers and chandeliers.  Quite possibly my favourite part was the amazing pie buffet that Katie’s mother prepared. There was over 15 different types of pie… and there was even enough for seconds.  I was just so happy!!  Anyway, I have tons of images to share, so you can see it all for yourself…

Nathan cleaned up the tractor for a few pictures…
The Groom’s cake, made by Katie’s mom.  She was a busy lady in the kitchen that week!

Dereck & Claire | Engaged

We met up in Fredericton one evening for their engagement session, and it was just soooo hot & muggy.  They arrived in leather coats & helmets on their motorbike.  As my make-up melted off of my face, and my hair stuck to my forehead, these two somehow managed to stay looking fabulous.  Maybe it’s all that loooove between them.  Dereck has been deployed oversees for several months and just recently has returned home, so they are currently enjoying a major step up from Skype dating.  They have a lot of cuddling to catch up on, and that made my job pretty easy!  Here are a few of my favourites…

Sean & Christina | June 25th Wedding

The eternal wait is over.  I am back home from a fabulous vacation with my family and have put together a few of my favourite images to share from Sean & Christina’s wedding.  It was a rainy day in Fredericton, but it didn’t really matter.  There was a definite buzz of excitement and a happy nervousness as everyone got dressed and ready for Sean & Christina’s first look at each other in the hotel lobby.  We grabbed some umbrellas and headed around town for some pre-cremony photos before the rain started to really pour down and we needed to go inside.  Following a beautiful tent-covered ceremony on the porch at Ducks Unlimited, Sean & Christina put on their rubber boots and headed out for some fun photos in the rain… and I’m SO glad they did.  These two absolutely adore each other, and it really really shows.  On top of that, every detail of this day was just so lovely and perfect and it felt like a treat to be able to be a part of it all.  Here’s a little preview…

I started with the guys…

Then the ladies…
Sean & Christina chose to see each other before their ceremony to allow themselves a chance to spend some extra time together and have their photos done.
I LOVE their soft grey, white & yellow color pallet.
And this is the point where we found ourselves suddenly getting poured on.  I love this shot though!
I love how Sean is hogging the umbrella…
I like this shot that Jody, my assistant photographer, took while I was taking some others…
Jody’s perspective on the left, and my two shots in the middle and on the right.  I like how they all piece together…
They had a milk & cookies snack time later in the evening featuring Christina’s favourite cookies…
