I don’t do double weekends anymore. Meaning, this year I started to only accept one wedding booking per weekend. But, when Danelle contacted me to photograph their Friday wedding even though I was already booked for the next day… I just really really felt like I should forget about my rules and do it for some reason. I am SO glad that I did. Amidst the ridiculous heat wave we were having that week, they pulled off a gorgeous, super relaxed wedding celebration in a park in Mactaquac. I loved their picnic style lunch and how they kept it low-key and mingled with everyone. Drew & Danelle did something different that I’ve never seen before… they did their photos at the very end, even after their reception. I loved this because we had no timetable, no one waiting, and were able to just head out and have a great time. We ventured into Treego and then out to Drew’s family farm where he grew up. I’m really not a super mushy type, but these two really made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside…. and definitely kept me laughing. Here’s a few of my favourites from their day…
