Sweet little 9 day old Peyton came to visit last week! I became big fans of her parents when I photographed their wedding two summers ago, so I was pretty excited to meet her. Isn’t she pretty??
Alem is oozing with awesomeness. When I first photographed her when she was 18 months old and had just come home from Ethiopia (see that post HERE), she had a very quiet, more serious and reserved way about her. I was immediately very taken with her then, and still am now. Now, nearly a year and a half later and soon to be 3 years old, she’s fully loaded with silliness, witty comments, and hilarious expressions. I absolutely love being around her, and I would dare say that she has that effect on everyone she meets.

I have some beautiful girlies to share today. These cousins live on opposite sides of our massive country, but had the opportunity to spend a month together recently. Their mamas arranged a photoshoot with me while they were together as a little surprise for their grammy. We ended up having a very busy but fun time with a studio full of us ladies, with periods of subbing out one baby as she needed a snack or snuggle, outfit & diaper changes, etc. I think all of our efforts paid off and we got some really adorable images of these sweet girls.
