I am so behind on my blogging!! So, in an effort to try to catch up, I’m going to bundle three awesome up and coming grads from Hartland Community School into this one post.
First up, we’ve got Jonathan…
I love PEI, I love weddings, and I love awesome people so I kinda hit the jackpot with this one. I was thrilled when Lindsay asked me to travel to PEI to photograph their wedding. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of times over the past two summers when I photographed two of her bridesmaid’s weddings. She’s so perky and sweet and just absolutely adorable. Last summer I sat beside Raffi at a wedding reception and was so happy to see that Lindsay had found herself such an incredibly nice (and handsome!) guy.
Last Saturday, the island handed us some really unpredictable weather… extremely hot and sunny one moment, then pouring the next…. so it kinda kept us guessing. No worries with this happy couple though. When it really mattered, the rain mostly just went around us and gave us the window of time we wanted to head to the beach and around Summerside for some fun picture time. The weather ended up being perfect, we had tons of time to play, and their whole group was so laid back and brought so much fun to every part of the day.
Speaking of so much fun, their reception was rather hilarious as well. There was some stellar impromptu singing, hoola-hooping, great speeches, and quite possibly the funniest ever garter removal, toss and re-application to the lucky lady who caught the bouquet. Raffi and Lindsay surprised us all with an amazing choreographed first dance too!

Clay & Steph’s wedding was perfect. It was so relaxed and easy-going, and yet so organized and smooth. I assume that had much to do with their fabulous wedding planner, Charlotte Burhoe. You can find out more about her at www.charlottesabrinajayne.com
Anyway, I had never met Clay or Stephanie prior to their wedding day, which is very rare, so I had no idea what to expect. When I met up with the girls at Made You Blush, I was thrilled to discover that my bride for the day was STUNNING, absolutely adorable, and had a fabulous group of girls too! I was also excited to meet up with Clay and his guys, who were all sooo funny and who we’re all lookin’ just so fine! After some excitement and nerve-filled preparations, we headed over to Ducks Unlimited for their incredibly emotional ceremony, followed by some family photos, then off with the wedding party for some more picture time.
Their reception was also at Ducks Unlimited and was an informal mingle time with tons of awesome finger foods. A beer-filled canoe, candy bar, lemonade stand, and chocolate fondue tower were just some of the extra perks. A couple of short toasts and a first dance later, they got the official dance party started and we also fired up my crazy photobooth.
All things considered, this was a top notch kind of day. Here’s a little peek….
